Tim Roberts is an Australian-trained physiotherapist with extensive international experience in elite sport and high-performance athlete care. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, as well as a Master of High Performance Sport from the Australian Catholic University. He has also completed strength and conditioning certifications through both the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Throughout his career, Tim has worked across Australia, England, the United States, China, and Mexico, supporting athletes from Olympic and professional sporting environments. Prior to joining the UFC Performance Institute, he worked extensively within Olympic high-performance programs in England and China, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of sports. For more than five years, Tim has been part of the UFC Performance Institute, initially serving as Sports Medicine Manager at the Shanghai Performance Institute before relocating to Mexico City, where he currently leads the Sports Medicine department. In this role, he oversees the delivery of world-class sports medicine services to elite mixed martial artists, integrating injury management, rehabilitation, performance optimization, and multidisciplinary athlete care. Tim is passionate about translating high-performance principles into practical strategies that improve athlete health, resilience, and performance.
